Powers and Sons currently offers forged lower control arms for a MacPherson Strut front suspension, A-Frame arms forged in steel or aluminum, or arms made from stamped steel.
Varied Configurations
Control arms come in many different configurations:
- Linear control arms used in multi-link suspension systems
- Control arms with a ball joint in both ends
- Control arms with bushings in both ends
- Ball joint and bushing combinations
The permutations are as varied as the imagination of the system designers; they all are variations on a theme.
Our control arms combine the ball joint capabilities shown on other product lines with bushing capabilities shown on track bars. We have developed a process for forged aluminum control arms which makes us very competitive on cost, while still maintaining the requirements of the most severe duty cycle.
