Powers and Sons has produced idler arms for over 50 years. We manufacture them ranging from under 1Kg (2.2lbs.) for passenger cars and light trucks to over 20 Kg (44 lbs.) for heavy trucks and military vehicles.
An idler arm has to be rugged to endure temperature ranges from –40 to +100 C and all the suspension loads that heavy vehicles on bad roads can generate. Some idler arms must have low friction to promote road feel. Others have rubber isolators to dampen out road kickback.
