R&D Lab

The mission of our Research and Development Lab is to discover new ways to continuously improve the quality, safety, and functionality of our current products, as well as evaluate the possibilities of new products and markets. Our significant investment in an R&D Lab proves our commitment to our customers and employees alike.

3D Designing

All of our design and manufacturing engineers utilize a robust Autodesk AutoCAD and Inventor software suite for 2D drawings, 3D modeling, tolerance analysis, and various simulations, including FEA. We also maintain a variety of other CAD suites including, but not limited to CATIA and NX used with Teamcenter for customer collaboration projects.

Prototyping

With a robust R&D Lab, CAD 3D modelling/simulation, a full-service tool room, and 3D printing at our disposal, prototyping a part or assembly for you is more than possible. Prototyping in this fashion greatly reduces delivery time delays, reduces launch risks as well as costly design changes from straight to production oversights.

Forging

Our facility has the capabilities to produce forgings up to 25 pounds in a wide variety of alloys and carbon steel with various production methods including: hammer forging, press forging, coining, and cold work. Secondary forging processes include: heat treating, machining, plating, bead and shot blasting, and polishing.

Machining

Milling, turning, broaching, drilling, bending, and threading are just the beginning of our capabilities. With a full staff of design and manufacturing engineers coupled with a wide array of machinery, the sky is the limit!

Assembly

Our full staff of engineering experts ensure that every process is robust, focusing on preventing issues before they can happen. Our facility boasts the use of robotics and vision systems, along with the use of hard fixtured assemblies as well, all geared toward providing the best possible quality and the least possible cost.

Product Test Lab

With multiple dedicated equipment stations to simulate various conditions, and state-of-the-art control, measurement and analysis software, we test all critical elements of our parts regarding strength, endurance, and functionality. Areas tested include but are not limited to high-load fatigue, wear, tension, compression, resonance, torque, grease moisture content, and material grade analysis via XRF.
