Production Method

Coin Pressed
Coining is essentially a sizing operation with pressure applied to critical surfaces to improve tolerances, smooth surfaces, or eliminate draft.

Cold
Cold forging involves either impression die forging or true closed die forging with lubricant and circular dies at or near room temperature.

Hammered
Forging with the hammer is carried out in a succession of die impressions using repeated blows.

Press
The process in which a slow continuous pressure is applied to the area to be forged. The pressure will extend deep into the material and can be completed either cold or hot.
Roll Reducer
A process that moves material to an area on the blank reducing flash during the forge and trim operations resulting in lower steel cost.
